CircusAI Coach is operated from Canada. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), applicable provincial privacy laws, and applicable U.S. state privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) where applicable.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details), and training profile details (discipline, level, skills, goals, injuries). We also collect usage data including training plans you generate, plans you save, and how you interact with the Service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and personalize the Service, process payments, send transactional emails (lesson requests, confirmations), administer the referral program, improve our AI training recommendations, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services which may process your data: Clerk (authentication — USA), Stripe (payments — USA/global), Supabase (database — varies by region), OpenAI (AI plan generation — USA), Resend (email — USA). Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. By using CircusAI Coach, you consent to the transfer of your data to these providers as necessary to operate the Service.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers. CircusAI Coach products are ad-free.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Training plans and waiver signatures are retained for as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
7. Your Rights Under PIPEDA
You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, withdraw consent to processing (which may require account deletion), and file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. To exercise these rights, contact us through the platform.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are between 13 and 18, a parent or guardian must consent to these terms. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
9. Physical & Health Data
Information you provide about injuries or physical limitations is used solely to personalize your training plans. This information is stored securely and is never shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., Supabase for storage).
10. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Cross-Border Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside Canada, including the United States, where privacy laws may differ. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
